Nothing happens, when you first drive the 8-odd kilometres from the Shornur railway station in Kerala, towards this charming two-bedroom villa in Painkulam village; when you go down the slightly winding road and open the large green gates that lead to this house built in laterite with tiled roof; or even when you enter the mud-finished morning room cum kitchen! Nothing happens, other than a quiet peace that takes over, forcing you to slow down, stay silent and simply stare! The space NOTE: Don't forget to say hello to our two beloved pet dogs, Savitri and Tamara, who roam the grounds with wagging tails and open hearts, ready to welcome you with love. Guest access The whole property is available for the guests use. Other things to note Please note : 1. We would prefer you check in before 5 PM as it gets quite dark towards the night and it will be difficult, navigating the winding road to our house. But feel free to contact us at any point if you have any difficulties. 2. Your home-cooked vegetarian Kerala meal on arrival is included. For the rest of the stay, you have complete access to our kitchen and can also explore the local small eateries in and around Painkulam and Shornur. Bigger restaurants are available only 4 Kilometers away at Cheruthuruthy. EXTRA SERVICE : However, if you would like our staff to cook breakfast for you for the rest of your stay, we can provide this service for an extra cost of Rs. 200 per head, which you can pay directly to her. You can inform us or her in advance and she will do the need full. EXTRA SERVICE : if you need any help with transportation, feel free to contact us and we can arrange someone for you and you can directly pay them.
