Description
The chalet is located at the Junction end of town, just a 5 minute stroll to restaurant’s , bars, cafes and coffee. The supermarket is a 5 minute drive. Turoa Ski Field is only a 19 minute drive, and Whakapapa is 50 minutes away. The Te Ara Mangawhero cycle trail is walking distance from the chalet, come and check out this beautiful trail via bike or a walk. Check out the Ohakune Railway Museum which is only a short walk away. The space There is unlimited fibre and a smart TV, you can enjoy endless movies and entertainment while watching your own streaming services. The gas fireplace warms up the chalet within minutes, the windows are double glazed and the property is fully insulated. You can relax on the couch with a good book, or whip up a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher to help with the clean up. There is a Breville Nespresso coffee machine (pods) with milk frother to help you with those early morning starts before you head off on your adventure. Once you’ve finished for the day, there is plenty of room to hang your gear in the drying room. Fitted with a dehumidifier, your gear will be nice and dry ready for the next day. Bedrooms Sleeping up to five guests, it’s ideal for a small family or two couples. You’ll be toasty warm with the feather/down duvets. There are also electric blankets and panel heaters in both bedrooms. Bedroom one has a king size luxury orthopaedic bed, and the second bedroom has a queen luxury orthopaedic merino and king single bed. Both bedrooms have 32” smart TV’s mounted on the wall. Spa After a big day of adventures, you can soak in the spa and take in the picturesque views of Mt Ruapehu. Of note All linen, towels and tea towels are provided.
