Built in the 1920's this recently restored two bedroom house was home to members of the Woolrich family who started the nursery in The Dandenongs that operated on this site until the 1960's. Fine furniture complements the period architectural features such as the Art Deco leadlight windows. The cottage ambience is altogether alluring. By placing a booking that includes wedding preparation or any small event, you acknowledge and agree to pay the mandatory event fee via Airbnb before check-in. Event/Wedding Prep Fee: $250 (Valid for stays up to 31/12/2025; reviewed for 2026.) Fee covers: • Extra people onsite (photographer, MUA, hairstylist, etc.) • Use of the cottage as a preparation/photography space • 12pm late checkout You must request and review our Event/Wedding Prep Terms & Conditions before booking. If you do not intend to pay the event fee, please do not book for wedding/event purposes. 🛏 Bedding & Room Use Rates are based on two people sharing one bedroom. The pathway closest to the Cottage will take you into the newly restored Cloudehill Woodlands, and on into Cloudehill Gardens - complimentary entry for our guests. PLEASE NOTE: Guests are provided with a supply of firewood - when that is all used, please contact our office for extra provisions for additional $20 or BYO. The collecting and burning of twigs, leaves and branches from outside your property is strictly forbidden at anytime. During the fire season no wood or kindling provided will be provided at your property, you may set the fireplace or firepit on days where there is no wind and not a Total Fire Ban.
