Our petit maison in the enchanting medieval village of Belves offers the comfort you expect. With the Nauze River Valley view from the bedroom, it is ideal for a couple travelling together for a romantic escape. The stylish loft has a 2-seater sofa-bed plus Netflix and Orange TV, and the combined kitchen / dining offers modern appliances. Relax with an aperitif in the rear courtyard. The beautiful Dordogne valley is a treasure trove of amazing sights, historic castles and caves. You’ll love it. The space With accommodation spread across 3 floors, our petit Belvesoise townhouse has been modernised from when it was a Medieval cottage, without losing its charm. The entry level has the small kitchen area with dining table for 4 to 6 people, an office nook, and a small sitting area where you can relax after your adventurous day out. Please note, our house may not be suitable for elderly or portly travellers due to the narrow wooden staircase. On the middle level is a light and romantic bedroom overlooking the beautiful Nauze River Valley. The comfortable double bed has cotton sheets with blankets for summer or winter, and an array of pillows and cushions. There is a wardrobe for clothes, and there are extra blankets and pillows stored in the house. You are sure to have a restful night's sleep here. This level also has a modern bathroom with a shower, toilet and washer /drier. The loft has been converted to a modern TV-room with a 43-inch state of the art TV and choice of many channels (Netflix and Orange TV). Relax on the comfortable 2-seater sofa after a day of sightseeing. Note: the sofa has a pull-out bed with double mattress. At the rear of the property, accessible by a public path, is an exterior courtyard surrounded by the remaining ruined walls of a previous dwelling where there are chairs for 4 people and a large coffee table. Enjoy your outdoor lunch or evening drinks here and take in the atmosphere. A picnic basket is also provided. High speed wireless Internet is available throughout the whole house.
