Alte Bäckerei Gnade: Fritz Vacation Rental

The Fritz vacation apartment is located in an old bakery, which is attached to the house. The hundred-year-old oven and an old mixer are still in the apartment as decoration, and as much of the historical building structure as possible has been preserved. The space The living room with kitchenette is located in the lower bakery in front of the old oven. It is equipped with armchairs, tables, TV and Wi-Fi. The kitchenette has a table, two chairs, dishwasher, stove with oven, fridge with freezer, kettle, coffee machine, coffee press, toaster, hand mixer, cookware and tableware, cutlery, vacuum cleaner. The bathroom with window is equipped with shower, toilet, sink, washing machine with dryer function and mirror cabinet. The rotary clothesline is in the courtyard. The bedroom is in the upper bakery, right above the old oven, where the baker's assistant once slept. It can be reached via a wide metal staircase from the lower bakery. It is equipped with a double bed (160 cm) and a dresser with mirror. In the neighboring old flour chamber is now the wardrobe for our vacationers. Duvets (200 x 135 cm) and pillows (one large 80 x 80 cm and one small 40 x 80 cm for each person) are provided. The bedroom window is on the courtyard side – for a lot of peace and quiet. The old mixer is now part of the room decor as a decoration. The large garden around the old house can be used by all guests. There is also garden furniture available for lounging. In the outbuilding, a large barn, a bicycle room with electrical connections for e-bikes is available free of charge. Guest access The old bakery is accessible to guests via a separate entrance from the courtyard. Other things to note There is no supermarket in Sehlen, but in the immediate vicinity the selection is large and you can reach all supermarkets in approx. 10 minutes by car: In Bergen, REWE, EDEKA (with a very good bratwurst stand in the parking lot), ALDI, PENNY, Lidl, familia and Kaufland. In Garz, there is a smaller EDEKA with a large selection. In Samtens, there is a NORMA and Netto. A stone's throw from the old bakery Gnade, the inn "Mehana – Kastanie" is located, but with irregular opening hours. In the district of Klein Kubbelkow, an upscale kitchen with regional seasonal products is offered in the old manor house with a small park. To Bergen you can drive through the Sehler forest on a scenic road. At the southern entrance to Bergen, on the left, is the factory outlet of the Kruse bakery and a fish shop. A few hundred meters further on, on the right, you will find a small café with very good soft ice cream and a pharmacy right next to it. There are many restaurants and cafes in Bergen. We recommend the "Gastwirtschaft am Markt", the "Eispalast" (Marktstraße 6) and the Springer Kaffeerösterei Rügen at Bahnhofstraße 71.
