You can also set off by bike or mountain bike. With the Gaula, you have an excellent river for fishing nearby. A few metres down the road you will find a footpath with direct access to the mountain with many hiking trails to the east towards Sweden. Visit Ålen Ski Centre, a great and versatile alpine resort with well-groomed slopes, separate children's slope, forest slopes, freestyle park and restaurant.
