Our property is home to a charming assortment of horses, cattle, and even the occasional deer, not to mention the vividly plumaged wild peacocks gracing the surroundings, we are 30 minutes away from Whanganui so you will need to ensure you have supplies with you! This cottage has been thoughtfully renovated to offer you a cozy haven. Sink into sumptuously comfortable beds adorned with crisp cotton sheets. Expect invigorating hot showers powered by a continuous gas system, delivering water at just the right pressure. We've equipped the cottage with all the modern conveniences you've come to cherish. I do actively work on the farm so during your stay if you wanted to come out and experience some of the farming activities please shout out! Guest access Guests are welcome to walk around the farm, please be aware that not all farm animals are tame and please don't make any large sounds as these can scare the animals, which can cause them to damage property and themselves. PLEASE CLOSE GATES BEHIND YOU IF THEY WERE CLOSED TO START WITH! Other things to note The Internet service is running off StarLink and should be very good for any internetting needs! The TV has an account for Freeview channels but if you wanted subscription based services, please remember to log out after your stay! As mentioned this is a working farm so please be aware of hazards and animals, the number one rule on any farm is to leave the gates as you found them so please remember to closing anything that is closed! :) If you bring a dog, please ensure that they are on a lead outside of the cottage lawns and if you could please clean up after your doggy mess, over the fence on the paddock side is fine We live on the farm also in a separate house and I have two kids that help me out on the farm sometimes.
