In our 17th-century country house, come and unwind in this gîte with exposed stonework and a fireplace, located on the outskirts of Richelieu, the City of the Cardinal. Between the Châteaux de la Loire and Futuroscope, come and enjoy a relaxing break in comfort and simplicity! The space The “L'ours qui a vu la poule qui a vu l'ours” cottage is located in the main building of our manor house. This is a 90 m² vacation rental consisting of a dining area with a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom with a bathtub, a sleeping area with two adjoining bedrooms, and two toilets. Access to the sleeping area is via a staircase, which is not suitable for people with mobility issues! Close to the Cité du Cardinal, a unique architectural gem in France and a charming must-see in the Loire Valley, your cottage enjoys a protected setting where nature reigns supreme in the “Land of Kings.” In this former 17th-century manor house, the cozy interior, offering color and comfort, is ideal for recharging your batteries and enjoying a proper vacation or a weekend surrounded by the abundance of local treasures. In summer, your garden is ideal for relaxing or playing outdoor games—a real treat for young and old alike. Nearby, you'll discover the stunning Château du Rivau, the royal fortress of Chinon, the Historial du Poitou at Château de Monts-sur-Guesnes, and Futuroscope. The forest, the hiking trails, and the Richelieu–Chinon Voie Verte will provide opportunities for memorable walks. A little further away, Chenonceau, Amboise, Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Langeais, and Loches are also worth discovering, as is the fabulous Beauval Zoo, located just 1 hour 30 minutes away.
