Vaikuntha - meaning The Eternal Abode is our newly developed home located on Sahastradhara Road, 7 KMS from Dehradoon City Center, 20 KMs from Mussoorie, & 40 KMs from Rishikesh Designed aesthetically, on contemporary notes, with attention to detail, our 3 BHK home is a perfect summer retreat for families wanting to escape the commercial craziness of Delhi & Mussoorie, yet be at a short drive away from the hill station. Also ideal for parents visiting their kids studying in prestigious schools The space Our home is a modern Duplex home, with one bedroom on the ground floor along with a living room, dining area and a kitchen. The upper level houses 2 bedrooms with attached balconies. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. We have a cute manicured lawn in the front which is ideal for catching morning freshness, and evening breeze. If you step up to the terrace, one can catch a view Mussoorie's glittering lights in the evening. We have a driveway which can accommodate 2 cars easily ~Amenities~ * A large LED TV has been provided in every room * High-speed Wi-Fi works throughout the house * Kitchen has most used appliances like microwave, baking oven, refrigerator, gas stove, RO, cookware & serve ware along with a tea station * All bathrooms have shower cubicles, water heaters for hot water * The house is fully air-conditioned for summer months and fitted with heaters for winters * Fresh clean Linen is provided at every check-in. * Linen change is provided every 3rd Day. * Sufficient towels are provided for every two days and are changed along with linen change * Toiletries like Shower Gel, Shampoo, Conditioner, Hand wash, and Toilet paper will be provided. The toiletries provided will be running stock (used by previous guests as well) and not as hotel toiletries. We humbly request our guests not to take the toiletries away with them. * Tea / Coffee comes with compliments from us, and guests do not need to carry the same as part of their groceries unless they want a specific tea/coffee of their choice. * Power backup is through the UPS system, which will power the lights and fans, however, heavy electronics like kitchen equipment, geysers/water heaters, room heaters, electric irons, and hair dryers cannot be used on power backup in case of a power outage. ~Add Ons~ * Bonfire: Open-air bonfire can be organized and is chargeable at Rs. 1500 per use (approx 3 hours). The bonfire will be provided in the driveway * Barbecue: Apparatus + Coal can be provided and is chargeable at Rs. 1000 per use ~Meals & Dining~ * Zomato deliveries are easily possible to order from a vast variety of restaurant options nearby. * If you want home-style cooking, then our caretaker can cook breakfast and one major meal (lunch or dinner) for you at a small facilitation fee of Rs. 1500 per day. Groceries will be charged as per actual * Grocery deliveries are possible using Blinkit and other apps Guest access Guests will have private access to the entire home. Our caretaker has his service accommodation at the back of the house, and will be available to look after our guests Other things to note We have a humble request for our guests. We do not appreciate guests going inside the house with shoes. We like to keep our home dust free at all times. Hence we have placed a shoe rack at entry, and we will provide slippers for our guests to change into while going inside. This keeps our home and you dirt and germ free, and helps in building a safe and comfortable environment. Hope you will value our request for this.
