On the lower floor, in what was once the old animal stable, there is a large bathroom and the entrance to the SPA which includes: relaxation area, herbal tea room, sauna/biosauna and a heated swimming pool with magnesium salts carved into the rock. The outdoor pool, connected to the indoor one but divided by a glass to glass that maintains the pleasant internal temperature, has a wonderful view of the Monte Rosa glacier and the Monterosa Ski Freeride Paradise ski slope. The cabin, entirely in wood and stone, has been expertly redeveloped by local artisans using local and recycled materials. Despite this, it enjoys modern technologies such as underfloor heating in all rooms with separate management, home automation lights, blackout curtains and triple glazing. Regional Identification Code (CIR): 002002-AFF-00005 Guest access VERY IMPORTANT: Ronco hamlet is accessible from a steep pedestrian road, an ancient mule track that is well preserved and cleaned all year round. The Ronco hamlet, one of the oldest in the area, is therefore not frequented by cars or motorcycles, this makes it a unique and exclusive jewel, which from 1300 to today has kept intact all its architectural characteristics of the ancient Walser population. You can collect fresh spring water from the fountain adjacent to the cabin. We recommend comfortable and non-bulky suitcases, however on request we have a paid luggage delivery service directly to the cabin. The hamlet is inhabited by young and old, frequented by many foreign tourists, but we would like to point out that it is a 4/5-minute walk uphill from the car park to our cabin. Other things to note Ad Maiora Walser cabin is an experience, it is a place to live with friends or family. A place to relax, enjoy the wood under your feet, the two magnesium salt pools and above all the surrounding landscape. Numerous paths and walkways in the middle of nature start right next to our cabin, the water that flows down from the river and that of the adjacent fountain to drink and store during your stay.
