The space Welcome to a peaceful retreat where you fall asleep to the stillness of nature and wake up to birdsong. Here you’ll stay with the forest as your closest neighbor on two sides, with swimming lakes and scenic walking trails nearby – the perfect place for relaxation and recovery. At the same time, you’ll enjoy an ideal location: less than 10 minutes to Landvetter Airport, 25 minutes to Gothenburg, and 30 minutes to Borås. Despite the rural tranquility, you’ll find a gas station and a convenience store with café service just 4 km away. You’ll stay on the lower floor of our house with your own private entrance and a fresh, newly renovated space. There’s plenty of room – about 35 sqm in total – with all the amenities you need. The bedroom is spacious (15 sqm) and furnished with high-quality spring beds (90 cm wide), a dining table, shelves, and wardrobe space. For additional guests, there’s a comfortable sofa bed with thick mattresses (80 + 80 cm). Beyond the bedroom, you’ll have another 20 sqm at your disposal, with generous space for luggage as well as your own WC, shower, and kitchenette. Please note: there’s no stove, but you’ll find a microwave, coffee maker, egg boiler, kettle, and more. Guest access Enjoy a comfortable and homely stay with us! You’ll have your own private floor with a separate entrance, ensuring complete privacy. The bedroom is located on the lower level, featuring two cozy beds (90 cm wide), a sofa bed (80 x 80 cm wide), and the option of an extra mattress or baby crib. Freshly made beds await you, so you can settle in and relax—perfect after a late arrival. The well-equipped kitchenette is combined with a shower and laundry area, with a private WC conveniently located in the hallway between the bedroom and kitchenette. Families will find toys and games ready on the shelf, and we’re happy to provide a high chair and crib upon request. A child safety gate is installed at the stairs for added peace of mind. You’ll have a total of 35 sqm to enjoy—featuring a spacious bedroom (15 sqm), a hallway with ample space for luggage and outerwear, and your own shower room and WC (approximately 20 sqm). There’s plenty of room for you and your belongings to feel at ease. We, a middle-aged couple, live upstairs and occasionally have visits from our children and grandchildren. On your floor, there is also access to our boiler room, pantry, and electrical panel. Should we need to access these, we’ll always inform you in advance. We look forward to welcoming you to a relaxing and pleasant stay! Other things to note The bus stops conveniently along road 156, making it easy to get to nearby areas without a car. For those of you who drive, there is secure parking in our yard. We kindly ask you to park along the edge of the forest or by the tent garage to ensure free access to our garage and our spaces. The house has neighbors on two sides, which provides a nice mix of community and privacy. We cherish a quiet and pleasant environment for everyone - therefore no parties, smoking indoors or unauthorized guests are allowed during your stay. Thank you for your understanding!
