The loft is located in the former village school of Hettenrodt. The school was built in 1884 and closed in 1976. A stunning, light-filled, fully furnished 1 bedroom loft apartment awaits you. Two of the three outer walls are made of 80 cm natural quarry stones. The beautiful 140-year-old sandstone window frames have been exposed …. . . The third outer wall consists of a double row of bricks. The 54 m² and 3.40 m high apartment was built in The space Completely renovated in 2022 with a lot of love, no expense spared. All appliances such as dishwasher, oven, induction hob, side-by-side refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, robot vacuum, as well as the 70-inch TV (satellite connection, smart TV) were newly purchased in 2022. The sliding door between the bathroom and the "laundry room" consists of a heavy Aludibond image of the Völklinger Hütte (World Heritage Site). The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet and urinal. The sink was mounted on an old, beautifully restored joiner's bench. The double bed at a height of 2 m can only be reached via an industrial steel spiral staircase (so unfortunately not for the disabled). Linens and towels are already included in the rental price.
