Bright & cozy studio near Bled | Countryside

This used to be my father's workshop. A very creative, dedicated space for sewing, carpentry and mostly for beekeeping. I am not nearly as handy as he was, but I do understand hospitality very well. I have decided to turn the entire annex into a cozy home away from home. Together with my family I will host you in our beautiful village, off the beaten path under the mighty forests of Jelovica, a few turns from the charming Radovljica and an easy drive to lake Bled and the Triglav National Park. The space The space was completely renovated in 2023. The apartment is small, but very cozy. The entire living area is 18 m2 with high ceiling, warm and bright colors and 3 large windows to capture plenty of light. It offers everything you might need to make this your tiny home: hallway with a large wardrobe, kitchen with an electric stove and microwave, dining table which can be used as a workspace, French bed 140x200, large TV with Chromecast plugin, private bathroom with shower. The apartment has a private entrance. There is a shared covered garage and courtyard for parking. Guest access Feel free to make the best of the shared courtyard for BBQ time, chilling under the apricot tree, playing badminton, chatting with the neighbors or having a cold one in the evening. Help yourself to raised garden beds for some herbs and to the garden fountain for water. There are two bikes you can borrow free of charge for easy tours around the area. There are endless possibilities for hiking and cycling in the direct vicinity of the apartment. I'll share plenty of tips and routes for you to enjoy. If you will bring your bikes, you can hose them down in the yard and keep them safely stored. When I say shared courtyard, I mean we are mostly coming and going, because we share a garage. No one will bother you during your time off. Other things to note The apartment is ideal for couples or solo travelers. Due to space limitations we cannot accommodate more than 2 people. There is no AC, but the apartment is in the shade of our house, so even on the hottest days it is no problem keeping the place cool. The neighborhood is very peaceful and friendly, mostly populated with retirees who are always willing to chitchat. You will be staying in the countryside, where there are plenty farms around, as the village is a large cattle-raising community. There will be cows, horses, sheep, goats, donkeys, chickens on your walks around the area. You can really make your stay a retreat into nature. I have a dog staying in the separate part of our home, so he won't bother you. But he'll be thrilled if you pet him, because he is a total sweetheart. TOURIST TAX SURCHARGE: mandatory local tax surcharge is €2 per person per night, to be paid on the spot.
