The space The name Aquarius Salento references the ancient name of the town of Acquarica del Capo, "Aquarius Ika," meaning "rich in water." The building, dating back to the early 1900s, retains the charm of the distinctive star-vaulted ceilings typical of Salento architecture. Aquarius Salento has two self-contained apartments, IKA and ARI, each with its own entrance and private bathrooms, designed to offer privacy, comfort and an authentic stay in the heart of Salento. ARI Apartment – Comfort and Salento authenticity. ARI is an air-conditioned two-room apartment of approximately 60 square meters, characterized by the traditional star vault and the original cement tiles from the early 1900s. It can accommodate up to 4 people and is an ideal solution for those who want more flexibility in terms of space and the convenience of a kitchen. The spacious living area has: Double sofa bed with open wardrobe. Flat-screen TV. Dining table. Reading corner with a selection of books and guidebooks about Salento. The kitchen, adjacent to the living area and complete with dishes, is equipped with: Induction hob. Refrigerator. Microwave with grill and an area dedicated to breakfast. Iron and ironing board. The sleeping area is located on the loft and features a comfortable queen-size bed and an open wardrobe. The bathroom has a shower, a hairdryer, and a heated towel rail. A small welcome gift from Salento is provided upon arrival for guests of Aquarius Salento: water, tea, tarallini and typical local biscuits, and, when provided, a small bottle of local olive oil.
