With pubs, cafés and shops just a short stroll away, it’s perfectly placed for exploring the Norfolk Broads. Full of character and comfortable living spaces, the cottage offers a relaxing base for families, couples or friends looking to enjoy the best of Norfolk. Key Features A large kitchen with a breakfast bar, A dining room with seating for 8 and patio doors to the garden great for entertaining. A cosy but spacious lounge has a period fireplace and electric wood burner and smart TV WC and utility area for laundry with washing machine The first floor is accessed by a winding staircase, in keeping with the old characterful cottage On the first floor are 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles & a twin A bathroom, with shower over the bath, WC and sink The attic eves accessed by a small winding staircase, is an extra space for children and teenagers to have fun but not to sleep. Outdoor Space There is an enclosed private garden and patio area for dining, a grass lawn and gas BBQ Standout Features Cloisters Cottage is part of the beautiful Langley Abbey Estate. Guests may have the opportunity to view Langley Abbey itself by prior appointment-please let us know in advance and we will do our best to arrange an avaialble guide Location Just a short walk into the centre of the town, passing the Mill and Marina on your way, you’re connected to all that this quaint market town has to offer: walks, pubs, restaurants, takeaways, grocery shops , a supermarket and pharmacy and coffee shops. If you are looking for some R and R there is a well-being centre at Loddon Mill and a Beauty Salon on the high street. Nearby Attractions Loddon marina and slip-way into the Norfolk Norfolk Broads are on your door step. Langley Abbey dates back to the 11th century and we are happy to give a complimentary guided tour to Cloister Cottage guests of its remains when booked in advance. There is roadside parking outside the front of the cottage. The cottage may not be suitable for less mobile guests, due to the staircases. Sleeping is not permitted in the attic space.
