Near Lake Toya (20 min.), onsen and lots of nature

Our house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, just about a 2-minute drive from the Date highway exit. Datemombetsu Station can be reached in around 7 minutes by car. With a 10–15 minute walk, you can get to the city center, where you’ll find supermarkets and restaurants of all kinds (ramen, sushi kaiten, izakaya, and various fast-food places). From April to November, we provide bicycles free of charge, which you can use to get around the city. The space During your stay, we want to make sure you can relax in complete comfort. If you need recommendations for local restaurants or places to visit, please don’t hesitate to ask us. We can communicate in Italian, English, and Japanese, so feel free to contact us anytime. Breakfast is included in the room rate. If your schedule allows and you are interested, we can help arrange various activities thanks to our connections with local guides and artisans: nature excursions, indigo dyeing, calligraphy, Japanese cooking classes, kimono dressing, and sword forging. If you would like to join any of these experiences, please let us know in advance so we can organize everything in the best possible way. Guest access Guests have access to two private rooms and a common lounge. The private rooms (17 m² = 10 tatami) are equipped with a bathroom (washlet and sink), TV, air conditioning, and can accommodate up to four people. Each room is also fitted with a latch for privacy. The common lounge features a table, kettle, microwave, small refrigerator, tea, and coffee. There is also an information corner with tips and suggestions for exploring the local area. The guest area is separated from the rest of the floor by a sliding door, which usually remains open but is closed for safety reasons when animals are staying at the B&B. Guests also have access to a Japanese-style room, which can be used for breakfast, as well as a shared shower. The garden is also available to enjoy. Access to the upper floor is not permitted. During your stay As this is a private home, we kindly ask for your understanding that we may not always be immediately available for every request. We live in the same house, so if needed you can contact us directly in person. Alternatively, you can reach us through the Airbnb chat, our social media accounts, or by email. If you have any special requests or specific needs, please don’t hesitate to let us know — we will do our best to assist you. Other things to note We kindly remind you that this is a private home, not a hotel. As we are located in a residential area, we kindly ask you to avoid any behavior that may disturb the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. Thank you for your cooperation. Guests without a car are welcome. However, please note that the B&B is about a 20-minute walk from the town center and about 40 minutes from Date-Mombetsu Station. From April to November, our bicycles will be available for use Casa Yurimomo is located in southern Hokkaido, in the city of Date, on the northern shore of Uchiura Bay, halfway between Hakodate and Sapporo. By car, many popular destinations are easily accessible, including Lake Toya, Lake Shikotsu, Noboribetsu Onsen, the National Ainu Museum Upopoy, Mount Yotei, the Niseko and Rusutsu resorts, and Mount Usu. Useful information for your stay House pets Two cats live in the house. Please be mindful if you have allergies. Guest pets Pets are welcome at no extra cost. However, we kindly ask owners to bring everything necessary for their care and well-being. Shower and onsen The shower is shared. If you would like a hot spring experience, we will be happy to recommend several onsen in the area. Two famous hot spring resorts, Toyako Onsen and Noboribetsu Onsen, are located nearby. Parking For guests arriving by car, two parking spaces are available: one in front of the house and a larger one next to it. Breakfast Breakfast is served between 7:00 and 8:30 (not buffet style).
