This property is on the second floor and we do not have a lift. If you struggle with stairs, you might struggle to stay here. Heating and Cooling- The building has 9 fireplaces, all of which have been capped and are not to be used as a fireplace unfortunately. Although, upstairs has two separate fully ducted air conditioners, they are absolutely amazing for both heating and cooling. Bike hire is next door- There are bike tracks that lead to the Moonta Mines and throughout the mines, Port Hughes Jetty, Moonta Jetty and if you are up for a great ride you can head all the way to Wallaroo or Kadina. Pilates Classes- You will not find a more unique Pilates experience than downstairs. We have 6 reformers and run classes Saturday mornings. If you would like to join us, please book via the Mindbody app or we may be able to run a private class for you. Carparking- There is a large carpark next door to our property which is free of charge and is the best place to park, there is also parking all along Ellen street and parking generally is not an issue. Boats and Fishing- We obviously love fishing and you certainly can fit a boat down the side of the building however it is an awkward driveway to back in to as Ellen street can be quite busy. We do have an alternate spot you can leave your boat if you like, just get in touch as we can work out a plan. If you love fishing but don’t have a boat, get in touch with Port Hughes fishing charters right now and book a spot on their boat in advance. You will have a great time. The doors and windows are as old as the building, they rattle a little but all are in working order, please be gentle with them as they are precious. We have tried to preserve as much of the original building as possible. Town clock- you will hear our historic clock chime every hour, we love it and its 100 metres away but some may notice it more than others. Cameras- We have a camera on each corner of the building and within the building (downstairs only)
