Highlands Farm Cottage

Our farm cottage is situated on the Drakensberg escarpment overlooking the valleys of Van Reenen’s Pass. This farm stay 4 sleeper unit is fully equipped with all you will need to live, work or get happy. We are load shedding resistant with WiFi during the shedding but we have lovely candles and fireplaces for your entertainment… Hiking, fishing, strolling, swimming, bike riding and hanging out on the farm is what we offer. Bring a book, a journal or an easel and come and enjoy. The space Highlands Farm Cottage is a cosy self-catering unit located in Highlands Country Estate, Drakensberg, ideal for a small family, couples, or friends wanting to escape the busy city. This cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests at a time and comprises 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom is comfortably furnished with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom contains a double bed. The first bathroom is fitted with a bath and a shower, and the second bathroom has a shower-over-bath. Linen and bath towels are provided. The unit features a well-equipped kitchen that includes a gas stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, fridge-freezer, and breakfast bar with stools. The adjacent lounge has comfortable couches and boasts an indoor fireplace. For guests' entertainment, a flat-screen TV, reading books, and access to free Wi-Fi are available. Outside, guests can enjoy a patio overlooking the gardens, portable braai facilities, and outdoor seating. Parking is available, as well as an inverter to power the Wi-Fi in case of power outages. Hiking, fishing, walking, swimming, and bike riding can be enjoyed on the farm. Guest access The entire cottage and 750 square meter garden is for the guests private use. Guests have access to enjoy 800ha of space on the farm.
