Idyllic River front property with manicured garden with fruit trees and shrubs for butterflies. We are just 3.9 km from Kandy City centre, Temple of the tooth is just about 3.3 km and Peradeniya Botanical garden is about 5.3 km distance from the property. This 70 sqm suite is part of a residential villa but the suite is private and comes with own living room, double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and balconies with river view. Garden and dining lounge are shared with others. The space 60 square meter stylish guest suite with direct river views and a shared lounge by the river, Air-conditioned sleeping room with private bathroom with hot water, living area with tea kitchen, fridge and mini bar with water, snacks and beverages. Room is equipped with a door lock, wardrobe with key, furbished with bed linens, pillows, towels and extra blankets. And toiletries are complimentary. Daily cleaning service can be provided upon request. Please note that there are no cooking facilities in the suite for guests and bringing in rice cookers, steamers and air fryers in side the suite to cook is not allowed. Meals can be arranged with our in house chef that makes delicious local meals for a small fair price. Our prices are little higher than in city eateries as we obtain our ingredients and vegetables at a fair price from small local vendors and growers. Most of the food is vegetarian with very few exceptions. This property is strictly non smoking through out and loud music and gatherings are not allowed. The property is designed exclusively for relaxing and to enjoy the views. We have no TV and Radio. Just great views and great food for our guests to enjoy in a beautiful atmosphere. Ideal place to relax if you love gardens, birds, water and simplicity. Guest access All guests have their own separate private entry to their rented suite and access to garden areas and shared outdoor dining / lounging veranda space. This is a part of a residential villa. This villa has 3 floors. Suite TWO is on the 2nd floor. There is another floor below which is connected through a staircase but it is separated with a unremovable wall fixture. The access to both floors are blocked from each floor, so no one else will have access to your rented suite. Each guest will have their own bedroom, living area, bathroom and a small kitchenette with kettle, fridge and tea making facilities. Each got full privacy of their own guest suite. Public areas like garden and dining lounge by the river is shared among others. The property is situated along the longest river Mahaveli in Sri Lanka. Swimming access to this river is prohibited in the area due to mud and many tropical species. The property is protected and fenced. Other things to note There are plenty of beautiful corners to do activities like reading, writing, painting, drawing and Yoga. There is also a small corner by the river for meditating if one wishes to. This property does not have a TV or Radio and do not encourage loud music, loud screaming and loud chatting over the phones disturbing other guests. We do not have driver's quarters or parking facilities. This property is surrounded by nature and littering the outside garden areas with plastic items, bottles will be charged with extra cleaning fees. Please respect our natural surroundings. Privacy and safety of all our guests are important to us. Therefore any other extra visitors during your stay in this property is not recommended. This is a non smoking facility through out and there will be an extra charge for 200 USD for smoking in non smoking rooms for cleaning out AC units, curtains and rugs. There are no cooking facilities for the guests inside the suite and bringing in rice cookers, steamers and air fryers in side the property to cook is not allowed. Bringing substances that are prohibited by Sri Lankan laws into the property are strictly forbidden. Bringing Alcohol in side the property is not allowed. We offer airport transfers from Bandaranayake International airport to Kandy and would cost 120 USD. Day tours to Sigiriya and Nuwaraeliya would cost 80 USD including driver, fuel and milage. We can also assist bookings for safaris including over night camping in national parks, trips to Galle and staying in heritage hotels in the tea country. For other day tours and short transport options can be arranged by a tuk tuk or in-house driver who speaks English.
