"Les Chesnes," a half-timbered house for five guests at the Domaine Les Pâtis. With a private riverside terrace, a cozy living room, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms, it offers the perfect setting for reconnecting with family or friends. Enjoy the estate’s leisure facilities, including the year-round shared Jacuzzi and the heated outdoor pool (open seasonally, weather permitting). Between relaxation, nature, and exploring the Pays d’Auge, take the time to savor your stay. The space Les Chesnes welcomes you to a character-filled Norman house featuring a terrace that opens directly onto the small river. Ground floor: • A welcoming living area with a lounge and dining space. • A fully equipped kitchen: refrigerator, gas stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and L’OR coffee maker. • All necessary tableware and utensils for preparing your meals. Upstairs: • A bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, plus an en-suite shower room with a toilet. • A bedroom with two single beds, plus an en-suite shower room with a toilet. Outdoors: • A private terrace where you can enjoy the riverside setting. • A charcoal barbecue for outdoor dining. • Free parking on the estate, close to the holiday home. Wi-Fi and a TV with Netflix are provided for your stay. The bedrooms and shower rooms are located upstairs and are accessible via a staircase. Guest access You have exclusive use of the entire gîte and its private terrace. The estate's leisure facilities are shared with guests staying in the other gîtes: • Heated outdoor swimming pool (open mid-April to late October, weather permitting). • Outdoor Jacuzzi (open year-round; restricted to guests aged 15 and older). • Tennis, pétanque, table tennis, basketball hoop, and football goals. • Children's playground. • Games room with billiards, table football, and darts (restricted to guests aged 16 and older). Shared experiences: • Opportunity to join us in feeding the animals (horses, donkeys, etc.). Activities available for an additional fee: • Quad bike rental for children and adults (electric quads for use on the estate). • Fishing and rowing boat trips on the pond. • Bicycle rental (available upon request during your stay). About the location: Nestled in the heart of the Pays d’Auge region, Domaine Les Pâtis invites you to discover the Normandy countryside, its villages, and its culinary specialties. Make the most of your stay by visiting Vimoutiers, Camembert, and Livarot, exploring local producers, or planning a day trip to Lisieux, Falaise, the Haras National du Pin (National Stud Farm), or the Normandy coast. We will share our top recommendations to help you plan a stay at your own pace—combining leisurely walks, heritage sightseeing, and fine dining. A digital guest guide is available in your accommodation, and various brochures can be provided at the estate's reception if needed. Getting around: A car is recommended for reaching the estate, doing your shopping, and exploring the surrounding area. Free parking is available on-site, close to the gîte. Other things to note 🌿 ACTIVITIES & SERVICES — DOMAINE LES PÂTIS Enjoy a stay in Normandy with plenty of on-site activities for guests of all ages! AMENITIES INCLUDED IN YOUR STAY • Heated outdoor pool, open from mid-April to the end of October (weather permitting). • Outdoor hot tub, accessible year-round. • Tennis court, pétanque, table tennis, basketball hoop, and soccer goals. • Playground: trampoline, swings, wooden play structure, zip line, and climbing dome. • Recreation room: billiards, foosball, and darts. These facilities are shared with other guests at the Domaine. 🏊‍♀️ The pool and hot tub are not private. Pool hours: • High season: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM. • Low season: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (during the operating season). Hot tub hours: • High season: 9:00 AM – Midnight. • Low season: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM. Access is prohibited outside these hours. Please remember to bring your own towels for the pool and hot tub. 🛏️ OPTIONAL BED LINEN & TOWELS Bed linen and towels are not included in this package. You may bring your own linens * or book the following options prior to arrival. Linens left on the bed (bed not made): • Double bed: €10. • Single bed: €8. Bed made prior to arrival: • Double bed: €15. • Single bed: €13. Each kit includes a fitted sheet, a duvet cover, and a pillowcase per person. Towels: • One large and one small towel: €8 per person. • One large towel: €5 per person. A bath mat and a small hand towel are provided in each bathroom. *🛏️ Mandatory use of bed linen Whether you bring your own linen or opt for the rental service, every bed used must be fully made up with a fitted sheet, a pillowcase for each pillow, and a duvet cover to preserve the cleanliness and condition of the bedding. Sleeping directly on the mattress, pillows, or duvet without these protective coverings is prohibited. In the event of soiling or damage resulting from failure to follow this rule, you may be charged for necessary cleaning or—if the item is irreparably damaged—replacement costs (subject to proof of expense). These charges may be deducted from your security deposit, in accordance with the terms applicable to your booking. 👶 BABY EQUIPMENT Upon request and subject to availability: • Baby cot: €15; sheets: €3. • High chair: €25. • Booster seat: €15. • Stroller: €60. • Bottle warmer: €25. • Baby bath: €15. Other equipment available upon request and quote. 🏍️ PAID ACTIVITIES Electric quads: • Use restricted to the Estate grounds. • Children aged 5 and up (depending on height) must be accompanied by a parent. • Children: €1 per minute. • Adults/accompanying persons: €2 per minute. • Minimum duration: 30 minutes. • Helmet, gloves, and hairnet provided. By reservation; subject to availability, season, and weather conditions. Bicycles (adult and child): Rental subject to availability; rates provided upon request prior to booking the activity. Fishing: Seasonal; €4.50 per fish, up to a limit of 6 fish per angler. Fishing permit required. 🕒 ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES Arrival: from 5:00 PM. Departure: before 10:00 AM.
