Cozy and bright wooden house

Come and recharge your batteries in this modern, simple and bright wooden house, with double exposure, a nice garden, open ground and breathtaking views of the valley. Located in the heart of the Regional Natural Park, in a peaceful setting, it is an ideal base for a quiet retreat or to discover the wild mountain valleys, lakes and rivers and the countless tourist sites of the region. The space The house is located in a quiet hamlet at the exit of the village of Rimont, 15 minutes from Saint-Girons and 30 minutes from Foix. If you arrive by bike, it is 5 minutes from the greenway that connects Foix and Saint Girons. Built in log in 2012, the house is modern and stays cool in summer and keeps the heat well in winter. There is a large open space with a living room, books, audio system, dining room and kitchen. There are also two covered terraces with dining areas - one in front of the kitchen that gets morning sun, and the other next to the living room that gets afternoon sun and incredible sunsets! There are two bedrooms with double beds and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom. I have a cat, Bonnet, who loves cuddles but can be a little distant or even haughty at first. Great if you could give her kibble during your stay!! Other things to note Ariège is one of the most preserved regions of France, where nature is wild, easily accessible and a real paradise for walkers, trailers, cyclists, skiers, fishermen and lovers of nature and the mountains. From the house, there is easy access to the Couserans/Tarascon and Andorra valleys as well as to the hilly Piedmont region. There are countless wild lakes and rivers in the mountains and near the house, where you can swim or cool off during hot and sunny days. For local products and crafts, there are farmers' markets every day of the week in the area. For even deeper relaxation – enjoy a massage available on site! I am a fasciatherapist and offer myofascia massage sessions on site in a cabin next to the house. You can let me know before or during your stay if you would like a session. MER (myofascial energetic release) is a deep muscle tissue massage – of the fascias – to relieve physical pain and release the somatic expressions of emotional and mental suffering. It combines sensitive and deep touch with conscious breathing, joint manipulation, myofascial unwinding and assisted stretching.
