Windy Creek Cabin is a log cabin located in the hills close to Fairbanks, in a forest of towering white spruce trees. The cabin is a quiet and peaceful place to experience Alaska. The space Windy Creek Cabin is a log cabin with a lovely deck located on five acres of old growth forest with towering white spruce and paper birch trees. Our property has some of the tallest white spruce on earth. The cabin is at the end of a short private road so there is very limited traffic. The large deck is a perfect place to watch for the northern lights, enjoy the sunshine or grill salmon. Our cabin is great for families and is well-stocked with books, games and DVDs. Goldstream General Store is 3 miles away and Ivory Jack's Restaurant & Bar is next to the General Store. Several trails are accessible directly from the cabin. The cabin is about a 15 minute drive from the center of Fairbanks. We are long-time Fairbanksans, we have six children and we live nearby so please let us know if you have any special requests or need help finding activities. We have 6 children and we use airbnb when we travel. If you are a large family, please contact us if you are thinking of renting Windy Creek Cabin and we can see what we can work out. The only extra charge for large families would be for additional water used (if you use extra water). Guest access The cabin is entirely yours. Windy Creek cabin is located at the end of a private road. The adjacent land is trust land and has never been developed. Parcels of land are required to be 5 acres so there are homes but they are far apart. Trails are accessible from the cabin and are well-marked.
