Description
Adara is a cosy farmstay and inspiration centre nestled in the Himalayan foothills. Clear days give views of mountain, valley and Himalayas. Come venture simple, sustainable and abundant life with internationals & locals. Retreat in a double, twin or family room. Listen to birds in early mornings while having coffee, herbal tea or chai. Read a book, join a yoga/painting workshop. Visit Khirsu and forest temples. Enjoy home-cooked Indian meals: lunch breakfast diner. Sometimes with western twist. The space This homestay provide a private double or twin room (with balcony) as well as a family room (with balcony) for 4 people. The family room consists of 2 connected rooms - 1 room has 2 single beds and the other has 2 comfortable mattresses on the floor. Balconies face the valley, mountains & Himalayas. All rooms are equipped with comfortable mattresses and blankets. Walls are decorated with murals & paintings. The house surrounded by garden terraces and fruit trees. Travellers often experience quiet. Since the homestay is part of a larger project, we sometimes have volunteers around and we give daily tuitions to a few local children 5-6pm. A Nepalese family lives in the property next door - they are humble and helpful and we’d love you to meet them. Guest access You’ll have access to the dining room, living room, shared bathroom house with hot shower + sink + Indian toilet. You may relax in the garden or on one of the balconies. During your stay Usually, Karan and Lieke are both around and love to have a chat about our project, or share a meaningful moment together. Other things to note We encourage visitors who have a curiosity for simple & conscious life and who like to blend in a little with the local.
