Cottage in Ararat

Our cabin is located in the picturesque Kibler Valley just over the Virginia state line. It is equidistant from Mt Airy, NC and Stuart, VA. It is located directly on the Dan River, just down the mountain from it's headwaters. The property sits 4 miles down a 6.5 mile dead-end road. At the end of the road is a hydro-electric power plant. During the summer months Northbrook releases water from the dam on week-ends, depending on resevior levels, which makes for fantastic kayaking and tubing. The space Our cabin has two bedrooms with queen-size beds as well as twin size fold-out in th sunroom. Due to the small size of our cabin we have a limit of 4 guests. We have a large yard down by the river equipped with a fire pit and four Adirondack chairs and a picnic table. Guest access You have acces to the entire space.
