A truly relaxing space in the beautiful village of Aird on the Point peninsula, Isle of Lewis. Just a 17 minute easy drive from Stornoway, the only town in the Outer Hebrides. The space A stylish very recently refurbished coastal home in the village of Aird, Point. ‘Taigh Mel’ forms part of a generous property close to the coast, which adjoins the owner’s home but is separate and self-contained with its own entrance. Guests can be assured of the warmest of welcomes, as Mel is always happy to help. The accommodation enjoys its own South West facing garden and has excellent level parking to the front of the house. The sunsets are spectacular! Inside there’s a fitted kitchen and cosy sitting room, both spaces enjoy a garden view. There is also a dining area. The spacious double bedroom with Victorian Iron bedstead also has a garden view and a sizeable shower in its en-suite bathroom. There’s a large luxury Danish double (sprung base) sofa bed in the sitting room that could serve as an extra bed for one or two guests. Taigh Mel is just a 17 minute easy drive from Stornoway 😊 Other things to note For parties of two or less the sofa bed bedding is not left in the property. Please let me know if you require it. Bathroom towels are provided.
