Each independent apartment boasts high-quality fittings and is meticulously furnished to create a harmonious blend of modern convenience and timeless charm. Some have log burners. The entrance hallway is communal. Whether you choose to book 1 or all 4 for a grand gathering, it's a fabulous location at the Gateway to the Peak District, close to the Peak Forest Canal. Dogs welcome at an extra cost paid direct to the host. The space There are 4 exquisite apartments in this historic Grade II listed 16th Century Jodrell Arms building. Set on the approach to the village train station it is a perfect location for exploring local towns and countryside by train! Entering through the beamed communal entrance hall, the Edmund Suite (named after the Jodrell family) is a cosy one bedroom apartment on the first floor, adjacent to the Roger Suite. Off the small entrance hall is a homely living kitchen fully equipped with fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle. Luxury white quartz work tops and high quality units and fittings are a beautiful contrast against the original wooden floor. Relax in the comfy sofa in front of the flat TV or dine at the round table, it's a cosy warm space for 2 guests. A traditional style bathroom has a delightful roll top bath with a hand held shower (there is no stand up shower facility), toilet and hand basin. Quality shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap and towels are all provided for you. A white French style bedroom featuring a rattan king size bed, flat screen TV, pretty wall reading lights and has plenty of hanging space for clothes. Our hotel quality mattress will ensure a good nights sleep. We do allow max 1 dogs with an additional charge of £15 per dog per stay. Guest access Entrance is through a communal doorway entrance. Place to take off muddy boots and wipe muddy paws!
