Willow cottage is a homely, self-contained bungalow ideally situated for stop offs on long journeys and with everything needed for short breaks or working away from home. It has a well equipped kitchen, bathroom, three bedrooms (2 singles, 1 double) and a bed settee in the kitchen diner sleeping up to 5 people, a lounge, TV and wifi connection. The owner lives separately in an extension adjoining the rear of the property. Friendly dogs welcome - more than 2 dogs, please get in touch. The space Thornton-le-Beans is a peaceful, friendly, rural Yorkshire village surrounded by gently rolling countryside with scattered woodland and local farms. Thornton-le-Beans lies close to the thriving, historic market towns of Thirsk and Northallerton. Local walks provide lovely views of North Yorkshire - ideal for the serious walker or those who’d just like an afternoon stroll Explore Herriot Country, visit the White Horse of Kilburn or the Wensleydale railway. Guest access Off street parking available. Shared access with owner. Other things to note Guests are asked to follow the house rules. Most are general etiquette and some relate to insurance eg no deep fat frying. Please familiarise yourselves with these in the welcome book on arrival. Copy available on request.
