Exceptional Devon barn, rural but convenient.

Molly's Haven is a beautiful barn conversion, spacious, well-equipped, perfect for families and friends to stay and enjoy this beautiful part of the country. A rural location, accessed via a private track, (no street lights here!), but is still only a short drive to local amenities (2 miles) and the A38 (2.5 miles). Conveniently situated for visiting Plymouth (10 miles), the fantastic beaches of the South Hams (Bigbury on Sea 15 miles), the Dartmoor National Park (6.3 miles), and beyond. The space Finished to a high standard, Molly's Haven is one of 3 properties on the site (the owner's occupy the farmhouse) and provides a comfortable get away. On walking up the gravel path you will enter through the front door into the hallway, off which there is the sitting room, snug, utility room, WC, shower and the stairs to the first floor. The sitting room has plenty of seating and a Smart TV. The snug room, with Smart TV provides a quiet space for working, for playing games or just sitting. The large, well-equipped farmhouse kitchen is accessed via 3 steps, with a range cooker, combination microwave, dishwasher, large fridge with a small freezer above, a large pine table, all great for family entertaining . The patio doors open out onto the stable brick patio, with a range of furniture and a fire pit with BBQ grill. The downstairs flooring is slate, you may like to bring your slippers. Upstairs, you have a light and airy reading area. Bedroom 1 has a pine king size bed, ensuite with walk in shower. Bedroom 2 has an Edwardian double bed and Bedroom 3 has twin beds, both have mahogany furniture. There is a family bathroom with free standing bath and a shower cubicle. There is plenty of car parking The barn has Fastfibre broadband, electric IR heating panels and a log burner (for winter) . Travel cot (please bring own bedding), stairgate and high chair available (Please request when booking). Guest access Guests have sole use of the barn and a private entrance. Externally there are self contained newly landscaped gardens with wild flowers, a lawn and a patio all to the front of the property. Ample parking close by. Other things to note The site is amongst agricultural land and adjacent to the Dartmoor Zoological Park so you can expect rural noises from the occasional tractor, animals in the surrounding fields and maybe the roar of a lion! For this reason we are sorry but we do not allow pets. The barn is one of only 3 properties on the site therefore it isn't suitable for large gatherings (maximum 10 people), loud parties or stag/hen dos and we do politely ask for quiet between 23:00 and 07:00 hours If you are looking to surprise someone special, maybe a birthday or anniversary, let us know your plans before you book and we will help where we can. We are trying to reduce our carbon footprint, we have recycling bins in the kitchen for your use and we stock eco-friendly toiletries.
