As you arrive at Rock Terrace take in the views you have from the property, then step through the door into the cosy sitting room with gas fire, TV and comfortable seating. Upstairs to the first floor is the kitchen, equipped with electric oven, fridge and microwave and a dining table that sits within the window so you can enjoy the Peak District landscape while eating your morning toast. The bathroom is also located on the first floor with a shower over the bath. Head to the second floor where the bedroom awaits, with super kingsize bed and fresh comfortable linen making it a perfect to unwind and enjoy a restful night’s sleep. Take a stroll for a few minutes downhill and you are in Bakewell town centre, one of the Peak’s most known areas and home to the Bakewell Pudding. There are many independent shops, cafés, bakeries, pubs and restaurants to visit, or why not grab some chips and enjoy them by the riverside? Chatsworth House is very close to Bakewell, where you can buy a ticket to explore the house and gardens, making a great day out. You are spoilt for walks but the closest is the Monsal Trail; you can hop on to this from Bakewell so you won’t even need to take out the car, but if you are happy to, there are many other things to do within just a few miles.
