It's a 12 minute walk to the central train station and a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bike/scooter ride to the historic University town centre. We are fully wheelchair accessible with wetroom and step free access. If the wide selection of local restaurants, cafes and pubs on Mill Road doesn’t tempt you, there is a well appointed kitchen. The space A fantastic one bedroom fully accessible annexe. Close to Mill Road in Cambridge, within easy walking distance to the main train station and with excellent transport connections to the City Centre, Cambridge University Colleges, the Science Park, and Addenbrookes Campus. Smartly decorated with a brand new cooker, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, SMART TV (wifi) and high speed internet. Our step-free entrance is accessible with an 910mm wide door and paved path from the driveway. The space is designed with mobility needs in mind. The kitchen worksurface can be raised or lowered to allow an easy accessible space. There is under floor heating throughout and a luxury accessible wetroom. The bedroom consists of a double bed with a fitted wardrobe & cupboard. The property can sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children. The second bed is a sofa bed which is situated in the living room. If the Sofa Bed is required an Extra Charge of £20 will be requested after booking to cover the extra laundry costs. Guests will have access to one allocated parking space at the front of the property. There is a rear and front courtyard with table and chairs. KITCHEN - The hob and sink are built into the quartz worktop where the height can vary from 650mm to 900mm with a large clear void underneath to allow easy wheelchair access. - Fridge/Freezer - highest fridge shelf 1200mm. Lowest freezer draw 300mm from floor level. - Crocerkery cupboard with extractable swingout shelving. - Wall mounted cupboard with pulldown shelf lowering system. - Kitchen utensils located in lower draws. - Oven door is at 1100mm and is Slide and Hide by Neff. Underneath is a pull out shelf for hot items. Pots and pans are kept in the draw below oven. DESIGNER WETROOM - level access shower area. - 90cm rise and fall removable shower head allowing greater flexibility. - support rail and wall mounted shower seat. - wall hung basin next to WC with accessible thermostatic tap, bidet sprayer and at a height that a wheelchair can fit underneath. - slip resistant floortiles. AROUND THE PROPERTY - There are flat patio areas with ramps and rails to the front and back doors. - Outside wall mounted foldaway clothes line at accessible height. Guest access Guests will have access to one allocated parking space at the front of the property. The annexe itself is accessed by a lane at the back of the main house. You are able to unload your car at the gate to the annexe via the lane and then park your car in either the allocated parking space at the front of the main house or, on the sealed side road leading to Timberworks estate. There is a code to the gate to access the annexe and a lockbox in the front patio area to access the key to the front door.
