Moonshadow Retreat - Waterfront relaxation

Welcome to Moonshadow Retreat. We are shut down for winter but if the weather is warm we may open up. The space The Moonshadow Retreat is fully off-grid of city services and rustic, heated by wood stove, but you will have all of the basic comforts. Water is from a community watershed and is filtered with a UV disinfection system. Electrical power is provided by a solar system, so you will be able to keep the phones charged for music and have the needed power for lights, tv and the provided small appliances. Telus and Rogers cell phone service is also available in the area and there there is also high-speed internet available. Guest access Guests can access all of the items available at the cabin. Some of these include; hot tub, outdoor shower (with hot water), BBQ, wood stove, fire pits, 2 stand-up paddle boards, a canoe, crab traps and yoga mats. Other things to note Please remember that this is an off-grid cabin and things like power and water must be used sparingly. Power hungry appliances (such as blow dryer) are not the most capable with this type of power system. So, if your group has these needs or any concerns, please mention this when you book. Access to the cabin is also via an active logging road so please be careful on the drive. This is our family cabin and we spend so much of our time here, so we ask that guests please be respectful during their stay of the cabin, the neighbours and the environment.
