Faja da Ovelha is a small village of Calheta, conveniently located for access to the Via Rapide, Restaurants, Beach and Levada walks. By car: Ponta do Pargo restaurants 6 mins. Paul do Mar restaurants and beach 8 mins. Calheta Marina, restaurants and beach 12 to 15 mins. The space The Cottage offers two bedrooms. A Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower) and a Twin bedroom. There is a second shared bathroom on the Ground floor. A large Balcony outside of the bedrooms offers panoramic Ocean views. Private Heated Pool measuring 4m x 3m x 1.5m average depth. On the Ground floor is an open plan Kitchen Diner with all modern appliances, and a Lounge with 42" TV, DVD player and Free WIFI access. Plus the second bathroom (shower). Outside is a split level Terrace, offering choice of shade or sun. The raised Terrace to one side provides a Pergoda and BBQ area. There is also a garden. To the rear of the property is secure parking for one car behind an electronic security gate. The property is approximately 300 yards from "Nova Levada Calheta". A car is essential for anywhere in Madeira, as all properties and villages are located on hillsides. Restaurants are at Ponta do Pargo 6 minutes. Paul do Mar 7 or 8 minutes, also with a beach. Calheta Marina 12 - 15 minutes, with a family friendly beach, and the start of different activities. Guest access The whole property is for the private use of our Guests. Other things to note PARKING - Parking for one car is available, behind the security gate. NB Please note that this is a Self catering Villa. To maximize convenience and privacy to our Guests, we provide self access arrangements with keys in a Lock Box. There is no Meet & Greet service. Rentals are on a minimum one week contract, so we only provide starter supplies of soaps, toilet paper etc. A mid stay change of towels and cleaning is inclusive in the Tariff, if staying eleven nights or more. Close the Pool cover after use, to help retain the Heat. Heated to 26c - 32c depending upon the season. Housekeepers - Our Housekeeper Felicia Abreu is extremely competent and reliable. She is your point of contact, if you have any issues during your stay. On receipt of your Booking, we will send a Welcome pack, with his contact details, information on Keys & Access, and other useful facts, to help you prepare for your holiday. We also require your email address, so that we can send you all this information. Also, a Guest registration form is required, for the Owner to submit to the Border authority as per EU regulations. Like most properties in Madeira, the House & Garden are arranged over different levels of ground.
