New Whirlpool appliances in the kitchen. Fun for all relaxing in the 80s themed retro game room. As with most homes in Nova Scotia of this vintage, we don’t have central AC. We have two powerful portable window units which keep the house cool for you in the summer. The electric baseboard heat in each room keeps the house warm in the winter. This home has a beautiful large lot with a large, fenced/in, yard for your dog, complete with small pond. The pond is natural, no chemicals. It is home to our famous Nova Scotia peepers (frogs). Depending on the time of year you visit, you may see frog eggs, tadpoles, and mature frogs. You will hear them “peeping” if they are not hibernating! Ducks sometimes visit the pond. There is another area at the upper lot with incredible lake views. You have beautiful views of Lake Fletcher (which is directly across the street) from many rooms of the home, and from the yards.
