Description

Beachfront 4-bedroom apartment right on the Mediterranean, furnished in a charming retro style, with stunning views. Large terrace balcony, parking space, two swimming pools, and surrounded by great restaurants and bars. The beach is literally just across the road. Why are we more expensive than other options in the building? The apartment has been completely renovated, everything works perfectly, we maintain impeccable cleanliness, it’s decorated with vintage items that make it truly unique. The space THE AREA The exclusive Mascarat area is located just 10 minutes from the picturesque town of Altea, renowned for its colourful old town and its 187 restaurants. It is also only 40 minutes from Alicante International Airport, making it easily accessible from anywhere in the world. Within this privileged location is Villa Puerto Beach, an apartment complex literally situated right on the beautiful La Barreta beach, just 20 metres from the building. Simply put on your swimwear and step straight into the sea. This beach is unique due to its 200-metre width, cleanliness, ample space for safe swimming, tranquillity, crystal-clear waters, rich marine ecosystem, and the pleasant texture of its sand. During the summer, there is a beach bar specialising in meats, which also offers cocktails, toilets, freshwater showers, sun loungers and parasols for hire, as well as lifeguard service. Villa Puerto Beach is a multicultural space, full of various nationalities and accents, where everyone has an interesting story to tell. In the area, you can hire yachts, jet skis, paddleboards, bicycles, and also enrol in yoga, diving, climbing, bungee jumping classes, and much more. Additionally, there is an excellent selection of gourmet restaurants, bars with exquisite cocktails, live music, and DJs who enliven the evenings with a lively and stylish atmosphere. There are also kiosks, small supermarkets, and very affordable takeaway food outlets. For a more comprehensive shop, the Masymas supermarket is just a 2-minute drive, 9-minute cycle, or an 18-minute walk away. Our apartment is right in the heart of this bay. It is fully soundproofed, sheltered from the wind, facing the sea, and boasts spectacular views of both the mountains and the beach. The building was constructed in 2005. We purchased and completely renovated it at the start of 2024. We proudly emphasise the word “renovated” because we did it all ourselves: with our ideas, our hands, our tools, recycling what we found and giving the apartment a unique identity. For this reason, and although it may sound a little strict, we prefer not to allow parties or events, and we do not accept pets or smokers, as smoke can linger and affect the experience of future guests. THE APARTMENT Measuring 90 m² (approximately 970 sq ft), the property features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen integrated into the living-dining room, and best of all: a spacious and bright terrace where you can eat, read, or sunbathe while listening to the sound of the sea. The entire apartment is fitted with air conditioning and heating. Just a few steps away, there are two excellent pools: one for children and one for adults. It also includes a communal parking space accessible by remote control. DECORATION The apartment is decorated primarily in a vintage style. It includes wooden tennis rackets, vinyl records, photos of old advertisements, bicycle wheels converted into lamps, creative objects, and collectible furniture that reflect our hobbies and experiences. THE BEDROOMS The first bedroom faces the sea and is very bright and spacious. It has a new double divan bed, two bedside tables with reading lamps, large wardrobes, air conditioning and heating, and a vinyl record collection decorating the walls. It includes sheets, blankets, and towels. The en-suite bathroom is decorated with vintage advertisements and has a shower, toilet, and bidet. It also includes soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. Under the bed, you will find two sun loungers and a beach umbrella stored. The second bedroom has two single divan beds, a large wardrobe, a bedside table with a reading lamp, air conditioning and heating, and a collection of wooden rackets and golf clubs. It also provides sheets, blankets, and towels. The bathroom is just next door (a couple of metres away), also decorated with vintage ads and equipped with a shower, toilet, and bidet. Soap, shampoo, and toilet paper are included as well. The third bedroom has a new one-and-a-half-sized sofa bed, a wardrobe for one or two people, and a desk with a reading lamp. It includes sheets, blankets, and towels. If not used as a bedroom, it is ideal as an office. LIVING-DINING ROOM It features a beautiful wooden table for four, a comfortable sofa for two, two floor cushions, Wi-Fi, a CD sound system, and a smart TV ready for you to connect your Netflix or YouTube account. As shown in the photos, it is decorated with original items: vinyl records, tennis rackets, and golf clubs on the walls. THE KITCHEN Fully equipped and integrated with the living-dining room. It has new appliances: a large fridge with a separate freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, sink, cleaning supplies, robot vacuum, iron with ironing board, toaster, juicer, multi-capsule coffee machine, cutlery, glassware, and full crockery set. TERRACE At 16 m² (approximately 170 sq ft), it offers a very comfortable space. There are two sun loungers perfect for sunbathing, reading, or enjoying a drink in the evening, a table for four, another table for two, and a cushioned bench with binoculars for enjoying the views. There is also a retractable awning to extend the shade when the sun is strong, and it is decorated with vintage vinyl record covers. PARKING The building has a communal parking space for residents. The remote control will be available upon your arrival. Although we cannot guarantee availability during peak season, turnover is constant. If you cannot find a space, there are two free parking areas adjacent to the building. Guest access The entire apartment and its facilities (swimming pools and parking). Other things to note Important note: We love children, but due to the presence of delicate objects, unique pieces, and antiques, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate guests under the age of 6. The apartment is decorated with items that hold significant sentimental and historical value — many of which cannot be replaced, even with a security deposit. Some things simply can’t be repaired or bought back, and we aim to preserve the special character of the space for everyone. Thank you for your understanding.
