AREA This villa is located on the seafront in the south-west of Madeira Island, in the municipality of Ponta do Sol. Next to the property there is a beach, a few restaurants and the Lugar de Baixo lagoon, the only tidal lagoon in the archipelago and a stopover point for many migratory birds. The property is close to the centre of Ponta do Sol, where you can find several restaurants, beaches, shops, a petrol station and a mini market, as well as other essential services. In the municipality of Ribeira Brava, which is just a few minutes' drive from the property, you'll also find supermarkets, restaurants, bars, the beach, a market, the Ethnographic Museum and some local shops. The airport is 40 minutes away by car and the city of Funchal is 20 minutes away. GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
