Description
The Court of Narnia is a wonderful Villa located on a spur at the foot of the castle of Narni. It is a historic home built in the Middle Ages, a convent of friars, then inhabited by nobles in the last few centuries. It is the only house in the historic center with a pool and in this space there is no introspection. It has two gardens and an outdoor courtyard. It's a luxurious and comfortable place, the villa is fully air-conditioned and has private parking. The space The Court of Narnia has a large entrance hall, a TV room, a dining room, and a kitchen. The meticulous restoration has made it possible to recover the antique grit and marble floors. The outdoor courtyard on the floor of the dining room in the 1200s was an ancient square on two levels and even today the original flooring was kept in sampietrins of the time. The area is bordered by what used to be the city walls. The villa has 2 gardens on 2 different floors, in the one below we find a natural cave inside which has been created a sauna and a cold water bath, in the upper level a terrace overlooking the Black Valley with amazing views. The rooms are located along a truss hallway, where the friars' cells once opened. The first bedroom has a double bed, a large private bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a niche with a single bed; the second bedroom, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet; the third and fourth are considered familiar, they are two divided rooms but they share the bathroom, one double, the other 2 with single beds. This wing of the villa also features a laundry room. Other things to note The Court of Narnia is erected in the Middle Ages, it is used as a convent of friars in 1200 and then cross the centuries until we reach our days full of history. Both inside and outside, in fact, all possible original materials have been maintained, from the stone sink of the 16th century to the grit of the 19th century, not to mention the Roman staircase. It's like taking a walk along a timeline. Registration Details IT055022C101033481
