The space On entering through the gates and parking your hire vehicle in a shady spot on the driveway you will be greatest by a white traditional Greek villa on a very generous plot scattered with established olive trees - your home for your stay in the charming village of Messonghi. The front door opens into light and airy open plan kitchen, diner and comfy living area which looks directly out to the beach, calm sea and glorious mountains of the Greek mainland beyond. The kitchen here has everything you need to whip up meals for the family. The sunrises at Villa Valentine are quite something to behold. You can watch the local fishermen trawling in their nets as the sun rises above the horizon casting a molten glow on the sea. Perhaps even start the day with a refreshing early morning dip to revive the senses! Through the hallway from the main living area you will find a family bathroom with bath tub as well as a shower and washing machine, followed by three good sized comfortable double bedrooms with plenty of storage for all your holiday packing (two of the bedrooms have two single beds which can be pushed together and made up as a double to separated depending on your needs - please send a message confirming how you would like these configured when booking) one of which is an en-suite. Two of the bedrooms also have their own patio doors leading onto the huge tiled terrace which wraps itself around the house and leads straight out onto this quiet stretch of glorious beach. Or just enjoy the spectacular view with your morning coffee or evening glass of local wine. The grounds here are quite unique. A large garden surrounds the charming villa which planted with huge olive trees. Ideal for children to play on or to spread yourself out on a sun lounger with your holiday reading material. And the large terrace boasts an array of different seating options either for alfresco dining at the table or simply sitting and chatting around the outdoor sofa set listening to the crickets and waters lapping the shore. There are an amazing array of restaurants in and around Messonghi to chose from especially if you love fresh seafood. Treks to Cholomos and many other great walking routes are within a stones throw for the more adventurous. The beach here is just perfect for swimming, shallow clear waters which are calm and warm most of the year. Paddle board, boat and kayak hire are also all a very short stroll away.
