Welcome to Gamboa! Only 35 minutes from downtown Panama, Gamboa. Situated in Soberanía National Park and on the shores of the Panama Canal, is a Mecca for Birdwatchers and Nature enthusiasts! Watch the wildlife right from the backyard of your fully equipped apartment. Feel the magic songs of thousands of birds welcoming the twilight of sunrise and dusk in this century old community. Easily explore wildlife on trials through the surrounding old growth jungle and by boat on the Panama Canal. The space Our home casa # 126 was built in 1935, for American engineers during the construction of the Canal. We recently restored it, adding multiple updates to provide a modern retreat, but without breaking the aesthetics of the surrounding natural environment. ÑEQUE is the name given to our studio apartment, for the guinea pig-like animals that roam the neighbourhood. Located on ground floor, it has a complete kitchen, private bathroom and an AC unit. Entering through the front door, you will find 2 twin beds, and living room and dining area with a large feel. It has a total area of 31 square meters (334 square feet) and has direct access to a shared 60 square meter (646 square feet) terrace reaching into our wild and lush tropical garden where you will find deck chairs for a chilled bird watching session. It can accommodate two people and has a designated parking spot. Guest access outside terrace laundry, on reguest. Other things to note You are advised to do the supermarket before arriving in Gamboa as the grocery store in our neighborhood is very small, but it has enough to cook or eat something, there is a small restaurant with typical Panamanian food , in addition to the restaurant of the nearby hotel.
