Description
Brailsford Water Mill is an historic building that was built in the 16th Century and is mentioned in the doomsday book. Relax and unwind at this peaceful place looking out over the mill ponds and listening to the water flow down the mill race. If you are looking for a more adventurous stay we are close to Alton Towers, Wildpark activity centre & Carsington Water to name a few. The space Brailsford Water Mill can sleep 20 guests in 8 bedrooms spread out over 3 floors. The bedrooms range from twin rooms, double rooms and family rooms (double and bunkbeds) Cots are also available if needed. There are 2 bathrooms, 1 shower rooms and 1 ensuite shower room. There is a lounge on the middle floor with original mill stone features. The kitchen is located on the ground floor with a large table and breakfast bar so you can all eat together. The gardens wrap around the side of the property with an outdoor seating area for BBQs and alfresco dining. There are 2 mill ponds one to the front and back which are linked together via a mill race that goes down the side of the property. The gardens are fenced around the ponds, but we still ask that children are supervised at all times when playing and exploring around the gardens.
