The space The cottage is an elegant fully appointed two storey cottage with a log burner to snuggle in front of, a small but well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, beautiful sleigh bed with high quality bedding and an electric blanket for chillier nights. The cottage is a former cider press from the farms former days as a cider factory and historically the original home of Knights Cider and part of the Ackers Huntley Estate. Situated adjacent to a large stream and in a property with a 10 acre private woodland with two larger publicly accessible woodlands adjacent there are plenty of charming walks to do, including the majestic May Hill with sweeping views over the Cotswolds. You’re likely to hear the owls and often the deer at night and there are plenty of birds, bats and other wildlife to see too. This is a place to come and relax in natural beauty and comfort. We provide logs for the fire, dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods, toiletries including molton brown soap, coffee machine pods, tea bags, sugar fresh milk and biscuits. Well-behaved dogs welcome by prior arrangement, We allow one dog per booking. As we’re set within a shared holiday-let site, we ask that dogs are comfortable around other guests and dogs, and not prone to excessive or frequent barking — Dogs must be pre-approved before booking.
