Description
Rural house nestled in the Pagoeta Natural Park, 10 minutes from Zarautz and 25 minutes from Donostia. The house is surrounded by a meadow and a forest of beeches and oaks. In total, 9 hectares of the farmhouse's own land to enjoy the nature, silence, and peace that the place conveys. The Caserío Bizkar, integrated into its environment with harmony and respect, has been fully restored, preserving its original style while taking care of its comfort for any time of the year. The space Celia, Noe, and I wish you a happy stay in our Bizkar farmhouse. We are nature lovers and we love to resurrect spaces like Bizkar to give them new life and so that they continue to bear witness to the passage of time, just as Bizkar has been doing since the second half of the 15th century. It has been an honor for us to have the opportunity to rehabilitate Bizkar and give it a new life, new uses in accordance with the new times, always with respect for the place where it is located. We trust that you share these values with us and that you will enjoy the privilege of inhabiting this place for a few days. Guest access The entire house will be rented to a single group of people so that they can enjoy the peace of the place without being disturbed by other guests. The farmhouse has large open spaces that invite coexistence with a 180 square meter living room, dining room, and kitchen on the ground floor and another 100 square meter open living room. In addition, you can enjoy its meadow as well as wooded areas that will be around 3,000 square meters in area. Other things to note The Bizkar farmhouse, with its 9 hectares of meadow and forest, is nestled in the Laurgain neighborhood, in the municipality of Aia and is located in the Pagoeta Natural Park. Laurgain is a small neighborhood that has a series of farmhouses scattered around its church of San Miguel, patron saint of the neighborhood. Bizkar was one of the farmhouses owned by the Lardizabal family and rented to those who worked the land since the Middle Ages. It appears majestic in its landscape, especially if you look at it from the nearby Iturraran Botanical Garden, another jewel of the municipality of Aia.
