Far enough to feel like you've gotten away from it all, but close enough to everything to make easy day-trips to all that Eastern Newfoundland has to offer. Perfect for families, a couple of friends, or a romantic getaway. Watch the sunsets from the front deck or the private hot tub, enjoy a fire (indoors or out), hike nearby trails, relax by the water, or check out the nearby golf courses, breweries, or quaint Newfoundland out-ports and towns. Only 5-10 minutes from many amenities including restaurants and grocery stores, with many, many more attractions within a half an hour drive. This cozy little spot still feels spacious, thanks to the vaulted ceilings and open concept of the living room and kitchen. Two bedrooms, plus a sofa bed, can accommodate up to 6 people. The full kitchen, with all the cooking essentials, plus an outdoor grilling space make cooking a breeze. (Or try any of the nearby take-out options, if you just don't want to cook!) A washer/dryer combo in the second bedroom make longer stays easy, without having to over-pack that suitcase.
