Bannerrigg, a fabulous celebration house with hot tub and cinema in Windermere at the heart of the E
Description
Cinema in the cellar. Hot tub in its own private outbuilding. Bannerrigg sleeps 16 across 5 bedrooms — with an AGA kitchen, open fire, Chesterfield sofas, and a dining room that seats the whole group. Windermere village moments away. The Orrest Head walk across the road. Up to 4 dogs welcome. The space Bannerrigg is the biggest house on The Terrace — five bedrooms sleeping 16, with generous rooms throughout and a layout that works brilliantly for a large group. The lounge has large leather Chesterfield sofas around an open fire and a flat-screen Smart TV — plenty of room for everyone to pile in. The dining room seats 16 around a large table, with big windows on two sides flooding the room with natural light and its own open fire for good measure. The kitchen runs on an AGA backed up by a second range cooker — a serious setup for a group that likes to eat well. Next door, a separate utility room houses a washing machine, tumble dryer, and a downstairs toilet — keeping the kitchen clear for the important stuff. All five bedrooms are singles — so nobody needs to share unless they want to. It's one of the reasons Bannerrigg works so well for hen nights, stag dos, and groups of friends. Four bathrooms serve the group across two floors. Bannerrigg's best kept secret is the cinema in the cellar. A 75-inch Smart TV, proper fold-down cinema seats, and Netflix or Prime Video ready to go. A great rainy day option — and there are a few of those in the Lakes. Outside, the hot tub seats 7 in its own private outbuilding — sheltered whatever the weather. There's a large slate patio with garden furniture, sun loungers and a BBQ to the rear, plus a front garden too. Parking for up to 8 cars and a 7.5kW EV charger on site. Windermere village is moments away — cafés, pubs, restaurants and Booths supermarket all within easy reach. The Orrest Head walk starts directly across the road. Twenty minutes to the top. Views that make it very much worth the climb. Up to 4 dogs are very welcome. Book Bannerrigg alongside neighbouring houses on The Terrace and you can sleep up to 71 guests across five properties. We welcome up to 4 well-behaved dogs. Bannerrigg is a great option for any kind of gathering. Guest access The whole property is yours including the private 7-seat hot tub. Other things to note We change the water in the hot tub between every booking. That may mean that on arrival day the water in the hot tub is not up to temperature until the early evening.
