Located in the heart of the city centre, Canto Do Atlântico is a spacious four-bedroom house that sleeps up to eight guests. A short walk from restaurants, cafés, Portas da Cidade, and the marina, the house combines original Azorean comfort with modern comforts. With three bathrooms, a private garage, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and a patio with a traditional “churrasqueira” style BBQ, it's an ideal base for families and groups exploring São Miguel. The space Welcome to our home in the heart of Ponta Delgada, where traditional character meets modern comfort. The house retains many of its original features while offering everything needed for a comfortable stay. A. Ground Floor: ▪️Living Room: A comfortable and welcoming space to relax after a day exploring the island, complete with a large smart TV. ▪️ Bedroom 1: Furnished with a double bed and located on the ground floor, making it convenient for guests who prefer to avoid stairs. ▪️ Dining Room: Features an extendable dining table seating up to eight guests, ideal for family meals and group gatherings. ▪️Ground Floor Bathroom: Full bathroom equipped with all necessary amenities. ▪️Kitchen: Fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, pod coffee machine, filter coffee machine and everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. ▪️Outdoor Patio & Churrasqueira: Directly off the kitchen, the private patio includes outdoor dining furniture and a traditional Azorean churrasqueira, perfect for outdoor meals and BBQs. ▪️ Laundry Room: A separate laundry area with washing machine, located off the patio for easy access. ▪️Additional Full Bathroom: Located off the laundry room, and includes a shower, providing a convenient spot to freshen up after a day at the beach or exploring the island. Please note: To access this bathroom, you exit through the kitchen onto the patio and enter through the laundry room. B. First Floor: Air conditioning unit is located on the first floor. ▪️ Bedroom 2 (Master Bedroom) - Spacious bedroom with a queen-sized bed, console table and mirror. ▪️ Bedroom 3 – Large bedroom with a queen-sized bed, console table and mirror. ▪️ Bedroom 4 – Bedroom with bunk beds, ideal for children, friends or additional guests. ▪️Bathroom – Full bathroom centrally located between the upstairs bedrooms with all necessary amenities. C. Additional Spaces: ▪️ Private Garage: A rate feature in central Ponta Delgada, providing secure off-street free parking for your car. Please note that, as the house is located in the city centre, some street noise may occasionally be heard. Guest access Guests will have unrestricted access to the whole house. In addition, the house is located: ▪️ 950m from Portas do Mar. ▪️ 650m from Portas da Cidade. ▪️ 4.2km (6 minute drive) from João Paulo II Airport ▪️ 650m from Campo de São Francisco, one of the oldest public parks in the city. Other things to note IMPORTANT: In accordance with local government regulations, as of 01 January 2025 the municipality of Ponta Delgada has introduced a "tourist tax" ("A Taxa Turística Municipal de Ponta Delgada"). Guests are required to pay a tourist tax of €2 per person, per night, up to a maximum of 3 consecutive nights.
