Beautiful and cozy apartment (attached to our house but with a separate entrance and locked door between apartment and house. The space is completely yours!). There is a queen bed and a queen air mattress. Free snacks, coffee, tea, and everything you need to cook. The snacks are super good, we promise! The rental is very clean and comfortable. The space There is a queen bed in the bedroom and extra blankets. There is a queen self-inflatable air mattress in unit (can be put in living room but it would be tight). Rest assured that all bedding, including blankets and comforter, are washed after each guest’s stay. The unit is professionally cleaned. The rental has blackout curtains throughout to help you sleep during our beautiful long daylight summer days. There is plenty of closet and storage space. Hot water heater, Keurig, coffee pods, creamer, tea, and fun snacks provided for our guests. Kitchen has a full refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, toaster, personal blender, microwave, and small crockpot. The apartment has the basics needed for cooking and eating (salt, pepper, oil, pots and pans, utensils, plates, cups etc.). Our tap water is great for drinking. We are happy to try to provide anything extra (rice cooker, large slow cooker etc.) that you may need, upon request. The cute electric fireplace in the bedroom makes the space cozy. If you need an extra fireplace for the living room, let us know! Plants brighten the space. Bathroom is roomy and clean and has a full tub and spray shower nozzle. We provide plenty of towels. We also provide bath soap, cotton balls, q-tips, makeup remover cloths, disposable toothbrushes, travel size toothpaste, and other toiletries. If you need something else, just ask! Wifi password provided to guests. If you have kids, we have toys and books in the rental for your use. We have a washer and dryer in our attached garage that may be used upon request at certain hours for a $10 cash fee (wash and dry). We can provide detergent and dryer sheets if needed. While the home is in a residential neighborhood, there is a beautiful field behind the house that is perfect for walking, hiking, and skiing. In the summer, you have fresh mint and chives growing right outside your door for your use. As described, the rental is attached to our house. While you will have privacy, we do have kids and the rental and house are not soundproof. We will always do our utmost to respect your privacy. No parties, events, or gatherings please! Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment. Other things to note The rental is 5 miles away from downtown Palmer, 10-15 minutes from Wasilla, and about 50 minutes from Anchorage. We have space for two guest cars, although one car is preferred. We have cats in our house. We have a dog on the property but we will do our best to keep her on the opposite side of the house. She may bark when you first arrive or leave. While pets are not allowed in the rental, pet hair always seems to travel so this would not be an appropriate rental for someone allergic to dogs or cats.
