The space The attractive market town of South Molton (3 miles) also known as ‘The Gateway to Exmoor’ has a variety of shops and a weekly market. Other attractions close by include the National Trust’s Watersmeet Gorge, Valley of the Rocks, and Lynton and Lynmouth’s funicular cliffside railway powered by water, all within 20 miles. On Exmoor you'll find walks to suit every ability – highlights include Tarr Steps and the village of Withypool home to Lanacre Bridge (both 15 miles). The best sandy beaches for surfing and swimming can be found at Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde (all within 20 miles). Accessed via external steps, the accommodation is set over three floors and sits adjacent to the owner’s thatched farmhouse. Follow the steps up to the front door and enter the hallway. The lounge/diner is to your right and is a light and airy room with comfy sofas, a Smart TV, and a DVD player plus a selection of books games and DVDs. A large dining table allows for family meals and is an ideal spot for a board game. Back through the hall you’ll find the well-equipped kitchen with the original slate flooring. Heading up the stairs to the first floor and you’ll find two of the three bedrooms, both doubles with one having an en-suite shower and WC. The family bathroom completes this floor with a bathroom with shower over bath and a WC next door. Another flight of stairs rises to the second floor/attic room, where you will find a double bed and twin beds, ideal for younger members of the family. Stepping outside, both the front and back doors of the cottage open out to the garden which is enclosed with a lawn patio with garden furniture and views across the cattle barns to the countryside beyond.
