The space The cottage has a striking facade made of exposed stonework which continues on the inside, where many of the walls are made from stone, too. A stylish wooden theme runs though the place, with exposed ceiling beams, gorgeous wooden floors and a central staircase made from the natural material. The cosy, open-plan living area features rustic furnishings and a welcoming fireplace – ideal for snug evenings indoors – plus a modern kitchen for preparing dinners. French doors lead out to a spacious enclosed garden complete with a good-sized lawn and patio area, creating the perfect space for children and pets to roam. When it’s time to explore further afield, Aberaeron (7.5 miles) is a fantastic location for a day trip, with its historic allure and lovely coastal atmosphere. Join the Allt y Graig Woodland Trail (0.5 miles) for dog walks along an old railway track. History enthusiasts may enjoy a visit to the mediaeval Strata Florida Abbey (16.5 miles), or you can drive to The National Trust site at Llanerchaeron Estate (6.5 miles) to visit an elegant Georgian villa designed by the architect, John Nash.
