Villa Baleia is a charming and comfortable Villa in the exclusive resort of Pedras d'el Rei, were your stay in Algarve will be unforgettable. With a very typical architecture, it is located in the Natural Reserve of Ria Formosa, surrounded by marvellous and unique mudflats. The property is part of a condominium set along the beautiful gardens of Pedras d'el Rei resort. It is a house designed and furnished to provide maximum comfort for you, your family and friends. The space Villa Baleia is oriented to the south and, thanks to its privileged location, enjoys marvellous sea views from its garden or terrace. Guests will find four bedrooms equipped with air conditioning, three with double bed and one with two single beds. The villa also has three bathrooms (two with showers and one with a bathtub), as well as two comfortable living rooms, both equipped with air conditioning (a summer room and a winter room). The kitchen is fully equipped, including, for example, a microwave, oven, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine, and all the necessary equipment for cooking. Villa Baleia can therefore comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. You'll find two dining areas, one inside, in one of the living rooms, and the other outside, with a pleasant view of the garden. Outside Villa Baleia, in the garden, you'll find a dining table, chairs, a sun hat and a barbecue, in an intimate and inviting space. Summer dinners at Villa Baleia are not to be missed! The Villa's facilities also include bed linen and towels (available on site), as well as access cards to the resort's swimming pool and the train that connects to Praia do Barril. Praia do Barril, which is about a 15-minute walk from the villa, is considered one of the best beaches in Portugal and, during the walk (or train journey), guests will be enchanted by the beauty of the mudflats of the Ria Formosa nature reserve. Facilities: The resort restaurant "Vale d'el Rei" is about 200 metres from the Villa. 24-hour reception The Nora Bar and the pool bar (Kaipiroskas) are also around 200 metres from Villa Baleia. In Santa Luzia and Tavira you'll find good restaurants (don't hesitate to ask for recommendations). Distances: Faro Airport: 42 km Santa Luzia: 1 km Tavira: 7 Km Ayamonte (Spain): 41 Km Vilamoura: 55 Km Activities: At Praia do Barril, with its white sand, guests will find the perfect conditions to relax and enjoy the sun and the typical warm and crystal-clear waters of the Algarve sea. Some water sports can also be practised. Nearby, namely in Cabanas de Tavira or Cacela Velha, guests will find the Benamor Golf Club or the Quinta da Ria Golf Club. In Tavira, you'll find some local operators offering boat trips and cruises (dolphin watching) and water sports such as SUP or kite surfing. If you want to do specific or more exquisite activities in the Algarve, such as charter a private boat, go horse riding on the beach, have a helicopter experience, book a Michelin-starred restaurant, rent a sports car or have your own private chef at Villa Baleia, don't hesitate to contact me well in advance to check prices and availability with local operators. Guest access Villa Baleia is located around 200 metres from the resort's swimming pool (usually open between March and November) and also from the tennis court. As for the typical train that connects to Praia do Barril, it's about 600 metres away, which means guests don't need a car to get around. Car park - Guests will find a private car park at Villa Baleia (up to 4 cars). Guests can also park their cars at the Pedras del Rei Resort (free of charge), or in the public car park near the access road to "Praia do Barril" (paid parking). Tennis court - to use the tennis court, guests must book (subject to availability) directly at the Resort reception. Please check prices at the resort reception. Other things to note Other conditions: There is a local municipality tax of € 2,00 per person and day (depending on occupancy), that will be charged on cash.
