The property is located just feet from the water, with all-day sun & gorgeous sunset views. Enjoy the use of the private 25-foot dock, sandy beach & kayaks to explore the lake. No parties or pets are allowed. The space The property is located in prime Muskoka, minutes from Bala, Ontario. Other towns nearby include Port Carling, Gravenhurst, Rosseau and Bracebridge. Our cottage boasts photo-worthy sunsets and lake views, with a large private dock. Enjoy the use of our fire pit, kayaks, board games, and many more amenities to make your getaway a beautiful and memorable experience. **Please note, since the cottage is located just feet from the waterfront, there is a downhill path to get to it. NOT IDEAL FOR FOLKS WITH ACCESSIBILITY NEEDS.** We're so sorry about this but we want to be upfront for safety as there are no railings and uneven ground. LIVING SPACE: The vaulted ceilings, open concept living with large windows truly takes advantage of the natural light and tranquility the property has to offer. Boutique cottage-style decorating, with a clean, modern touch, you will feel right at home amongst the pines. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea on the leather sofa surrounded in pillows and plush blankets. KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully-stocked, except we unfortunately do not have a dishwasher. All other LG appliances are brand-new in 2024. The cottage is furnished with key necessities needed to cook delicious meals with friends and family. Please help yourself. BEDROOMS: The property features two bedrooms in the main cottage and a one-bedroom lakeside bunkie. The two bedrooms in the main cottage feature one room off the kitchen with a traditional door and the other facing the lake with a ***sliding curtain partition***. The bunkie is simple, cozy and chic and also sleeps two. Please note, the bunkie is not heated but the main cottage has electric baseboard heaters. Wood stove is for decoration only and is non-operational. Guest access The cottage is off a main Muskoka road with a long private "loop" style driveway. We have private on-site parking for 4 cars. Other things to note INSECTS & WILDLIFE DISCLAIMER: Welcome to cottage country! The cabin is located in a heavily wooded area, surrounded by beautiful foliage and wildlife. With the unique & rustic environment, comes the presence of bugs and wildlife. While we rarely see bugs & wildlife inside, from time to time, it happens in cottage country. We do not recommend this stay for those afraid of bugs & small animals (mosquitos, chipmunks, squirrels, mice, etc). Please keep doors pulled shut while enjoying patio time to keep this to a minimum. Please dress accordingly while outside to ensure your own comfort and enjoyment. AC/HEAT: We do not have AC but you truly won't need it, as the cottage remains cool in the shade of the trees. Each room is equipped with a fan. Baseboard heaters are available to keep the place cozy year-round. SMOKING POLICY: Absolutely no smoking is allowed in the cottage. If you do smoke outdoors, please ensure to fully extinguish all butts and do not litter. Please leave no trace and respect the space so future guests may enjoy it. SEPTIC: We are on a septic system. Please respect this. Absolutely nothing can go down toilets except for toilet paper. No tampons, baby wipes, paper towel, Q-tips, makeup wipes etc. Please also do not wash food down the sink. DRINKING WATER: The tap water pulls from the lake so we recommend using the filtered water cooler for drinking and washing fruits & veggies. GARBAGE/ RECYCLING: Current municipality regulations allows just 2 bags of garbage per week. We ask guests leave a maximum of 1 clear tied off garbage bag and 1 blue tied-off recycling bag. We encourage guests to take with them what is reasonably possible. Thank you!
