Description
Cross on to Anglesey and travel a few miles on the south west coast, turn down a stony track opposite an old church and pass through beautiful countryside to finally reach Ty Poeth The space It's secluded and completely private but the views south over the rich fields of Mon (Angelsey) over to the high peaks of Eryri (Snowdonia) are quite something to behold. The village of Brynsiencyn is only a short walk away and here you'll find a great village pub (the Groeslon) and the Heritage Coffee shop next door. Just through the village on the shores of the Menai Strait you'll find Halen Mon where you can take a tour of the salt making facility, have a bite to eat in the cafe or even take a Wild Seaweed Bath! A few hundred yards further is the excellent Anglesey Sea Zoo and Foel Farm Park. There's plenty to do and see without having to travel far at all with Hootons Farm Shop less than a mile from the house- a great place to stock up on local food and drink. The house itself is comfortable and spacious enough for 8 people to spread out inside or outside. There is a well equipped open plan kitchen and dining room which leads through to the TV room and downstairs bathroom. Further through you'll find the vaulted sitting room, once orginally the attached cowshed. This is a large open room with a huge traditional fireplace in the gable end. Upstairs are the four bedrooms and a further bathroom. There is plenty of space outside as well. Ranges of old stone outbuildings wrap around the parking area to the front; sneak along the hedge to avoid disturbing the ever present rabbits and you'll find the main garden with its huge lawn and views to die for.
